When our company was established in 2007, our founder, Andrew Toftness, was just out of cabinetry school and ready to make his mark on the custom cabinet industry through wood interiors and inset doors and drawers. Since its inception, T. Laurel (originally dubbed Traditional Cabinetry) has developed a team of designers and cabinetmakers who reach beyond the perimeters of ‘traditional’ and ‘cabinetry.’ We’ve grown to take a holistic approach through space planning, color-scheming, fixture selecting, and building. While incorporating custom cabinetry is often part of the concept, the scope is not limited to building cabinets. T. Laurel is a comprehensive home design and custom cabinetry company.

Our Mission—
We strive to bring rhythm into daily life through our thoughtful design, excellent work, and interactions with customers and each other.
Through purposeful conversations, meticulous measurements, and creative space planning we work to achieve the best design for each client’s project. We believe in the proverbial wisdom that good things take time, and we will make sure every detail is considered as we work through the space’s intended purpose.
Our Design—
At T. Laurel it is our joy to bridge the gap between good design and comfortable living, creating spaces that not only look beautiful, but function in the best way possible. We believe that the efficient use of space and resources is a form of creative expression, and we work alongside our customers to establish an awareness of their lifestyle- most loved piece of furniture, best family vacation, materials and colors they’re drawn to. We work to incorporate heirloom, new, thrifted, vintage, and handmade pieces, shaping a home that is both individual, and inviting.

Our Vision—
We want to be a source of hope by bringing beauty into everyday spaces. It is our belief that beauty is one of humanity’s greatest sources of hope, and our vision is to make the world a more beautiful place through new and old-but-re-imagined designs.
“When people cease to be surrounded by beauty, they cease to hope.”
— N. T. Wright
The values of integrity and ingenuity feed our vision.
